About the mask uploader

I created this web page to provide a centralized place for engineers to upload new solar cell masks, which encode the locations of individual cells on a wafer. The previous method was to email someone who who would then manually upload it to the server. This was an inefficient process, slowing production times. The new uploader allows engineers to upload masks directly to the server while handling all error checking. I also met with the research and development and production teams to determine a set of guidelines to ensure the masks were uploaded consistently. Now the mask uploader page is the central location to upload masks and serves as a reference for the guidelines.
